•  What equipment do you need to participate?

A lift pass is mandatory for all children.  Panorama often have early bird season pass sales beginning in May for the following season with flexible payment options and discounted pass flash sales again around Thanksgiving

Recommended equipment for all children

1.   GS skis – recommended, SL skis are good (one pair) for Nancy Green programs

2.   GS and SL skis for U10 – FIS programs

3.   Helmet – race helmet mandatory, U10-FIS Hard ear cover with chin guard (free style and hockey is not allowed)

4.   Ski Goggles/Visor

5.   Protection for training SL (Shin/arm guards, pole guards, recommended chin guard, racing program)

6.   Basic tuning equipment (recommended)

7. Protective Gloves/Mitts

8. Back Protector U10-FIS

There are many ways to source good racing gear, our very own gear swap and the Calgary gear swap are great places to start! We also have great contacts for various brand reps. Reach out if you need help and advice sourcing good quality gear.

Did you know that Syndicate Boards in Invermere and Mountain Outfitters at Panorama Mountain both offer season long rentals? This is often the most affordable and best way to equip your child to ski, as they grow during the season you can easily swap out gear to fit them at no extra cost. rentals start at $149.00 for the whole season

  • How Do I know what size skis to get for my child?

  • What if my child wants to try more race focused program but the season already started?

If at any time during the season your child wants to give racing a go, they are always welcome to try out some time with our racers to see if its a fit for them, just talk to the coach or Dusan Grasic for more information!


  • How do I purchase Team clothing for my child and or myself?

we have to order new gear for the next season during the current one, so if you are new to the club you wont be able to purchase for the current year. However all is not lost, our official team gear is some of the best on the market and as such it is built to last. Follow us on Facebook we also have a buy and sell page.

Also during the season parents will post on Team Snap for items they are looking to pass down, so be sure you are using our app!


  • My child really wants to ski but we can’t afford the fees, what can I do?
